This July, join churches across Minnesota in an effort to sponsor 200 pregnant women and their unborn children who walk through New Life’s doors through the end of 2020.
Each year, New Life serves thousands of women. This July, we are inviting churches to commit to sponsoring the next 200 women seeking help and counsel for their unplanned pregnancy. This year, more than any other, the women we see are facing additional barriers that cause doubt about whether they can, and should, continue with their pregnancy. We invite your church family to sponsor these women – providing the practical, emotional, and spiritual care it takes to carry them through.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Participating in CARRY THEM THROUGH is an incredibly easy way to involve your entire congregation to help provide life-changing support to women in our community. Here are some simple steps in how to get started!
1. Register your church to participate. You will be provided with an online fundraising page to serve as a central place for your church family to give towards this campaign. When registering, it will require your first and last name for contact, but be sure to register as an organization that your church name is the name that shows up!
2. Promote Carry Them Through to your church. Share your fundraising page on your social media pages! New Life can provide materials for you to share on social media, or show during your online or in-person services to invite your church family to get involved. 3. Set a goal for your church! Challenge your congregation to sponsor a certain number of women by the end of July. For every $550 raised, your church will be carrying one woman and her unborn child through birth and beyond. How many women will your church sponsor? Share with your congregation and set a goal on your fundraising page!
4. Start fundraising and share your progress throughout the month! Compete in a friendly competition with other churches! The church that raises the most funds will receive a special thank you from New Life.
