Conversations around abortion are difficult. It is a polarizing topic that can quickly turn political and divisive – on top of this, there are members in the church who have personal experiences with abortion.
We invite you to join us for this virtual gathering as we discuss how to speak about abortion in a way that will be helpful to every member of your church – balancing both truth and grace.
Expand your understanding of abortion with our Executive Director, Tammy Kocher, who has been passionately working to serve the Minnesota community for 20 years. Tammy will share about the impact of abortion emotionally, spiritually, and physically – and share the convincing statistics as to why this conversation needs to happen in the church.
Gain empathy as we hear from a woman who went through our Conquerors program, who personally experienced abortion while active in the church. She will be sharing her story, and be available for specific questions about her experience.
Learn practical do’s and don’ts for when you speak about abortion from the pulpit. Our Conquerors program manager, Caroline Beaner, will share practically about the words that can trigger the women and men that have abortion as part of their story.
Consider next steps for you and your church as you become a safe place for women and men seeking hope after abortion.
