Dear Faithful Friend of New Life,

There is no doubt that the past year, even this month, has brought more obstacles to our work. As we continue to repair our building from the vandalism last week, I am holding fast to the encouraging words of Galatians 6:9, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

This year, we served thousands of clients, each with their own unique story and situation. These stories motivate us, and we know that they are the fruit of YOUR sacrificial giving. Here are just three examples from this past year of how you are making a profound, lifelong effect on men and women every day when you support our services.

Derek and Summer were both active in their church and terrified to tell anyone about their pregnancy, so they scheduled an abortion. While waiting for their abortion, they scheduled an ultrasound with us. We were excited to see an incredibly active baby, and they both burst into tears and asked to take some pictures home. They shared that even though their upcoming conversations with friends and family would be difficult, they believed God was glorified in their decision to parent.
At his STD appointment, Wyatt recommitted to abstinence before marriage. Shortly before his wedding, he came in for a final STD test and expressed how grateful he was for his lifestyle change and for the support from First Care throughout his journey.
Lillian and her boyfriend were initially excited about her pregnancy; but in a moment of panic, she took the abortion pill. Horrified at what she had done, she frantically searched online and found Abortion Pill Reversal. She came to First Care for an ultrasound, cried with relief at seeing her baby’s heartbeat, and started the reversal right away.

I hope you are encouraged by the work that God is doing at New Life, in and through you. As you rejoice alongside us over these stories, we are also asking you to consider a special gift at our fiscal year end to help ensure that we finish the year strong and can continue doing the work that God has called us to.

Gratefully,

Tammy Kocher,
Executive Director
